Terms of Sale

  • One (1) year limited warranty - ACME Portable Parts and Labor
  • Integrated portable system and custom order sales are final, no returns, refunds, or replacements.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable
  • All returns require a RMA number and must include a copy of the invoice
  • The standard service labor rate is $85/hr for non-warranty items

Terms & Condition of Sale

All sales are subject to the following terms & conditions:

All products are shipped at customer's risk, and ACME Portable's responsibility for loss or damage of products ceases upon delivery to the carrier, or to customer or customer's agent at ACME Portable's facility. Customer shall bear all applicable federal, state, and other government taxes as well as import or custom duties (for International sales), license fees and similar charges. ACME Portable retains (and customer grants to ACME Portable by submitting a purchase order) a security interest in the Products to secure payment in full and compliance with all sales agreements. In the event that the sales invoice shall be placed in collection, customer agrees to pay any and all costs associated with such placement, including without limitation, attorney's fees and other creditor rights proceeding.

Service & Return Policy

Prior to returning any merchandise either for service or credit, an RMA number must be obtained from ACME Portable's Tech Support Department. An RMA number can be obtained by calling +1 (626) 610-1888 or emailing support@acmeportable.com. No refunds or exchanges beyond 30 days from the original invoice date are authorized unless previously agreed upon by ACME Portable in writing. A 20% restocking fee will also apply to all qualified returns and exchanges. Please have your invoice ready when calling to expedite this process. Merchandise must be shipped back to ACME Portable Machines, Inc. freight prepaid in its original container mx-auto, including all original disks, manuals, accessories and a copy of the invoice. The RMA number must be visible on the shipping label for returned units. ACME Portable reserves the right to refuse packages without an RMA number and without a clearly identified shipper. For units under warranty, ACME Portable will cover the UPS ground return shipping fees. Some items are not returnable for credit. This includes but is not limited to custom made items, software, and special order items.

DOA (Defects on Arrival) Service Policy:

For DOA (Defects on Arrival) products, please bring up RMA request within 15 days upon the receive date. Returned products must be received by ACME Portable within 30 days from the shipping date for replacement or refund. Returned products must also be in the original package with all accessories and supporting documentation (copy of invoice). A minimum 25% restocking fee will be applied to damaged items and missing accessories. Products which are incomplete or show signs of abuse or misuse will not be accepted, or a reconditioning fee will be applied. Once received and inspects by the ACME Portable RMA department, DOA returns will be processed for immediate replacement.

Repair Service Policy

A flat diagnostic fee of $100 applies to all non-warranty repairs. The diagnostic fee is not refundable, but will be credited towards your actual repair cost. The standard service labor rate is $85/hr for non-warranty items. For units under warranty, ACME Portable will repair or replace all defective products and cover the cost of repair, labor, and parts. ACME Portable also has sole unfettered discretion to determine whether the returned product will be either repaired or replaced. For under warranty repair, customer will be responsible for shipping costs inbound to ACME Portable, and ACME Portable will pay for shipping costs after repairing to the ship-to address on the original invoice. ACME Portable does not cover return shipping charge to non-invoiced locations. Default shipping method will be UPS Ground or equivalent. Extra shipment charge will be applied for rush return services.

Out of Warranty

For products not under warranty, customers are responsible for all the shipping fees from and to customer assigned location. Any component that has been changed or added for the purposes of repair will be documented on the ACME Portable RMA workbook and charged accordingly. ACME Portable will charge a flat diagnostic fee of $100. Additional fees may apply, and before ACME Portable begins the process of repair, the customer needs to agree in written form to the charges. ACME Portable will invoice customers for the labor and material after repaired item has been shipped out.

Limited Warranty

ACME Portable Machines, Inc. warrants its products for (12) months from date of shipment against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is rendered void if the product has been changed, altered or modified significantly without expressed written consent from ACME Portable. Warranty is also void if the product has become defective due to acts of God, negligence, abuse or misuse.

ACME Portable makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness of our products for a particular purpose. ACME Portable shall not be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages, including but not limited to lost income, loss of use, lost data or any sums paid by customer to third parties.

ACME Portable Machines, Inc. reserves the right to repair or replace defective products during the warranty period.
