Strategic Account Manager Position

Acme Portable Machines, Inc. is a privately owned and the world renowned manufacturer of high-quality, high performance, fully rugged portable platforms and Industrial LCD keyboard drawers, based in Azusa, California. We are looking for an extremely motivated, confident, and extroverted individual who are striving to attain their highest potential in a leadership capacity. This is a newly created sales/hunter position reports directly to COO. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Achieves a quota of $1,800,000 per year, once fully ramped.
  • Must have the ability to approach high-level decision-makers and make sales presentations to groups.
  • Develops and executes strategies for identifying leads and closing deals.
  • Develops and executes strategies to drive repeatable business and long-term revenue opportunities
  • Maintains regular contact with account base, and increases revenue from positioning and demonstrating new and existing products.
  • Maintains broad knowledge of company products and their capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of competitive products.
  • Maintains close working relationship with product design group to provide feedback on concerns and requests from prospects.
  • Travel up to 50%.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years selling as a Strategic Account Manager.
  • Sales responsibility for at least $1.5 million in revenue.
  • Preferred sales experience in selling niche, highly engineered and industrial computing products.
  • Proven track record of meting quarterly and annual sales and profitability objectives for the previous 4 years.
  • Preferred candidate with established networks and relationships.
  • Candidate must have leadership potential, very professional with high energy level and winning attitude
  • Ability to generate leads, prospecting, cold calling, telesales activities.
  • Understand customer applications, company core competences and translate into product requirement.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong communications skills (written & verbal).
