| Overview |
To speed up the procedure of copying suspected hard discs, ACME Portable offers AFSBOX. It copies up to three hard discs with several interfaces (SCSI, IDE und SATA) at the same time. The AFSBOX system comes with three FireWire 800 connecter and a single USB 2.0 cable to connect it to the analyzing system. The hard discs can be turned on or off via three corresponding hot-swap buttons so that there is no need to restart the computer to boot up the hard disc drives. The AFSBOX copies with hardware based write block. The AFSBOX integrates a mATX auto switch (110 – 240V) power supply so that a regular power cable can be used and an external DC-adapter is not necessary. The AFSBOX set comes in a rugged case featuring all required cables and several adapters.
